Where we live And love Together

There is no deal There is no getting There is no past There is no future

You, the woman who I told the truth to
the one who I don’t know
who has nothing to lose
the one in the fairy tale
a traveler
a marvelous maiden
who seems to be good at asking questions
the ones I don’t really want to answer

the moon is up above us smiling down

how I am optimistic
about living a lying
lying in life
running from the obvious
seeking the sublime
pulling magic out of darkness
and hiding in the shadows of love

this is life and it is happening
whatever happens in it is beyond me
but I embrace all of it
avoiding some of it
ducking for cover
looking for a safe place
where things will start making sense
and the mistakes of the past
will gently fade away into a better future

It symbolizes nothing And asks for Nothing In return for Nothing That is being offered To no one

In fact If you said It never happened It wouldn’t be far From the Truth

But yet Something is Happening Between two people Do you know what it is? It is more quite than a Whisper

But you can hear it Inside If you close your eyes And go deep In your heart And feel that tender Longing To come home To love

Its here I know you feel it Because you know There is only one heart And we Are it
