Where Is My Teacher?
Where is my Teacher?
I was too shy to ask him why?
Too shy to find my own way home
Where is my Teacher?
I tried to do my practice the best I could
But failed so many times to do it right.
Where is my Teacher?
I know my enlightenment is coming soon
But I can’t do it without him.
Where is my Teacher?
He loves me and accepts me unconditionally
The way my parents never could
Where is my Teacher?
He is in my guts rooted in the gunk of the organs
Telling me more detailed instructions than a super computer
Where is my Teacher?
Hiding behind the façade of an expert
Peering out from a blind iron mask
Where is my Teacher?
Sitting on a golden pillow of light
Hovering above the ground
Carefully planning more exercises
Where is my Teacher?
My Teacher is everything that has ever been done to me
My Teacher is everything that I’ve ever done
My Teacher is everything that is perceived in this world
My Teacher is everything that is not perceived in this world
My concept of Teacher is a self imposed barrier
To realizing the unknowable brilliance that is already, always manifest.
